June 00 -- A major Transportation Corporation with world-wide offices and business partners in other transportation segments needed to implement a world-wide E-commerce solution that leveraged their partnerships and provided a secure method to communicate with large corporate customers.
EBS worked closely with this customer to understand their marketing needs and the advantages they need to stay competitive. The customer had a significant investment in MIS Systems and in-turn customers and supplier that were very computer driven. What they needed was a way to electronically communicate with both in almost real time.
A WAN network architecture and software implementation was devised that fit in their existing structure at a minimum cost and required only 3 months to implement corporate wide.
